cheap lip butter VS expensive lip butter

Fall is here which means it's getting colder outside. One thing that's always needed is a trusty lip butter to protect your lips from drying.

The first lip butter is called ''Lip Butter Vanilla & Macadamia'' from Labello. This product is a total copy from Nivea. But anyway it's still an alright product. It smells like heaven in a small bottle. It does the job pretty well but it makes your lips feel dry again which means you have to keep re-applaying it... If you think about it it's a smart move by the company to do that because people will keep buying even more lip products to use. This product was really cheap (3$) & it does a pretty descent job.

The second one is the ''Chocomania Lip Butter'' by The Body Shop. This one is on the pricier side. It costs aroud 12 US Dollars. Which is 4 times more expensive than the first lip butter I mentioned but 4 times as better. This product is a miracle worker. It does the job & heals your lips so that you don't have to re-apply it all the time. It smells like choclate I mean who doesn't love chocolate!?.

Cory Monteith - GLEE - The Quarterback

Today I watched glee's latest episode titled ''The Quarterback''. I don't think anyone has missed the fact that cory monteith (the guy that plays finn hudson in the show) has passed away. He died from mixing drugs with alcohol. I don't want to say that he brought this on himself because you could never know what a person is really experiencing. I just think that his passing is a huge loss for so many people. I was personally heartbroken when i heard about his passing. When the results came back & showed why he died I was so mad with him. All I was thinking how could he have been so stupid!?. I was so angry at him because look at what he has done to the people that loves him. As time went on I realised that only he knows what really went on in his life & that I shouldn't judge him. Instead I'm trying to just remember all the good & posetive things I got to see from him in Glee.

I just finished watching finns memorial episode. I cried from the first minute to the last second of the episode. I have never seen an episode of a TV-show be so real. Because they where showing their real emotions. Pretty much every actor broke down in tears & so did I... For a month now I have been wondering how this episode will turn out to be. I think they did a great job with it & honoring his life in a positive spirit. They never mentioned how Finn died in the episode. Wich I think is a good thing. The sadest part of all of this for me is that there will be no more ''finchel'' moments. No more Lea & Cory & no more singing duets with them. In glee we see a lot of singing wich I hate. But when rachel & finn sang togheter I always listend & enjoyed. I never klicked fast forward when the sang together.

I'm home

I'm so exhausted from the Stockholm trip. I came home yesterday late at night. The trip wasn't so great the only thing that was great about it was to be in my favorite city. I had such high hopes for this trip. It started of great until it was time for us to explore the town then some people got in a funky mood. I hate negativity I absolutely hate it. Then it was time for the theater which also sucked. It was so boring that I fell asleep as the play went on... Then it was time for us to go out to the city again & of course it starts to rain.

Though there was a lot of negativity I had some great moments over there. I got to see the most amazing view of stockholm when we visited the prime minesters office. I got to see that famous voting room & other cool places. The last day of the trip we went to a '' filming place for the news ''. I participated in the news show as a debater. I got to talk about blogs for like a minute.

In just a few days I will be heading to Stockholm!. I can't wait, the trip is going to be awesome. I'm going with my school which is a bummer... but I don't care since it's Stockholm that's my destination. Stockholm is a really special place for me. I don't know why but I feel so at home over there. I just love everything about it. I've been there 3 times before in my life & everytime is just as amazing as the last time I was there.

I'll be there for two whole days. The first day we're going to visit the parlement & if we're lucky we'll meet the Swedish prime minister. The second day is the worst since we have to visit this really boring museum... ugghhh.

But I honestly can't wait. I'll be enjoying the shoppin & loving life over there. What's not to love?.

New footwear for fall/winter

Not to long ago I went shopping and bought myself a new pair of boots. These boots are really popular & I wanted to get them last year but sadly they where all sold out in stores. So I made a promise to myself that I would get to the shoe shops in time next year before they run out again. Every year I need to buy myself new boots for fall and winter season. Since I always buy cheap low quality boots they brake easily. I've had enough of it now.

I bought the ''Dr AirWair Martens'' boots in the black color. I got them in real leather instead of fake because I want them to last as long as possible. They where on the expensive side but I'd rather pay a lot money for good quality than having to re-purchase boots every year. You actually save money on it in the long run!!.

Stage fright

If there is one thing that I hate more than studying is to have to speak in front of a group of people. Yeah that's right I suffer from stage fright. I've had this problem for as long as I can remember. I have an assigment on a book that I have to talk about in front of two classes. 

When the moment comes and i have to go up there and start talking I get the typical symptoms. Heart starts pounding hard, cheeks turn red, hands start shaking & voice goes high pich. I hate to have this problem because my mind understands that it's nothing to be afraid of. My mind gets it but my body doesen't & that's when i get mad at myself for not getting over this problem. Every time it's an issue & I'm sick of it. 

Sticking with the basics

When I was abroad this past summer I came across an eyeshadow palette from '' catrice cosmetics ''. It's called absolute nude eyeshadow palette. It comes with 6 different shades of brown and an applier. The price was really affordable!, it cost me about 5 dollars wich is just about 4€ & 3£. I think that catrice cosmetics is a German company.

This is my go-to palette! I use it pretty much every single day. The quality is really descent considering the price. It doesn't crease on me that easily & you can create so many different eye-looks with it.

I tried to do a smoky eye  with the palette once and this is the result. I normally don't do a smoky eye on my eyes. But I just love how it makes blue eyes pop :).

Why I hate to be a november child

When it comes to birthdays I'm never really to exited about mine. My birthdays come in november. I think that all the november-born people can agree with me when I say it sucks to have your birthday at that time. First of all the weather is disgusting. November is a fall month but at that time all the colorful leaves have fallen and the trees are naked. It's normally rainy, cloudy and dark. Yuuuuk. When the weather is bad that makes me unhappy & when the sun is out it's the other way around. Lets not forget to mention school. November is normally a busy month in school for people. So for the past years I have had to study for my birthdays. I meen seriously!? It sucks.. really bad. 

So to summon... I'm not looking forward to my birthday. Even though I'm turning eighteen and all it's not the same as turning eighteen on a summerday or a beautiful snowy winter day. 

THE BEST HAIRSPRAY EVER

OMG let me just begin and say that I have found THE BEST  hairspray ever. I bought it in h&m last weekend. I was watching one of zoella's monthly favorite videos ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dpEwhkn9L2w )  & she started to talk about this hairproduct. She said that the smell was amazing and I totally agree with her. On the bottle it says that it smells like vanilla & iced raspberry I mean how di freaking licious doesn'tthat sound. The sent is exactly as described on the bottle. The vanilla gives the smell a sweetness and the iced rasberry brings the fruitiness to the smell. If they made a perfume of this I would be the first one to buy it.

The hairspray really makes your hair stay in place. It is also anti-frizz wich is really a must for me since the humidity here is ridiculous.

I want to go to London

Everybody has a place in this world that they would just love to visit. That place for me is London, England. I have never been in the UK before. I have had friends and relatives visit London before and the things they have shown me has made me want to go there. I would love to have someone give me a ridiculous amount of money and a plain ticket so that I can go to london & shop till I DROP. I have heard that London has excellent shops & stuff to buy. I have never been in topshop... & that is a shop I would very much like to visit.

Then there is the sight seeing in London. Ahhh I would just love to stand outside Buckingham Palace & have my picture taken with one of the english guards hahah. Or to have a walk in the city, go on london eye, to stand by big ben, travel in the tube & lots of other stuff. Maybe my little dream will come true on day.

My major nosebleeds

Today I have had nosebleeds 4 hole times. Just 15 minutes ago from typing this i was laying on my bathroom floor helpless. It just didn't want to stop. There was so much blood coming out of my nose, it was ridiculous. I have had problems with nosebleeds my whole life. I get them a lot but not like this. I've had enough of nosebleeds in my life and therefore I really should go to a doctor about this. My nosebleeds come & go when they want to. Once just 6 months ago my nose started to bleed during a math test... & twice in shoppingmalls.

ios7 good or bad?

As many of you people know apple has just released a new programme called ios7. Apple users are quite used to uptadates like this. I myself am a apple user I have the iphone 5. I bought it just when it was released last year. Now apple have released a new software that belongs to the iphone 5s.

I downloaded Ios7 today. The process was very simple and it didn't take that long of a time to download. The other ios uptades used to take 2-3h to download and this one only took 30+ minutes. As soon as it finished I jumped right in to it to try it out. 

My first impression was '' WOow it looks really fresh with these beautiful colors''. I felt like I had just bought a new phone. Everything works just the same but the have changed the design on everything that apple own. One of the things i love  is that they have finally changed the design on '' the locked screen''. The homepage is just lovely. It looks clean and modern. I dont like how they changed the app where you send texts. No.... I actually hate it. The blue and green colors that soround the actuall texts are to bright and strong. It really disturbs me when I try to read my texts. Another thing that bothers me is how the folders where you store you apps works. When you have a lot in a folder you now how to flip through the folder to reach them. I don't know really what to think about the new ios 7. There are things I both hate and love about it. I would rather prefer to have the ios7 instead of the old iphone style. 

ios 7 has been a very highly discussed subject this week. Some people love it, some hate it & some people think it's ugly hahah. Oh well you'll just have to see for yourself if you'll like it or not :). Ps. I took  some screenshots of my homepage before and after the uptade to show the difference :).

''Cleaning'' out my Facebook

Today I spent the day ''cleaning'' out  my facebook. I deleted every post I have ever made on facebook. I started using facebook back in 2009. That's almost 5 years of posting pictures & statuses. It took me forever but I'm so glad I did it. When I looked back on every post that I made I felt humiliated and I kept thinking how could I have posted all of this!?. Back then I was a completly different person. I was confused & felt left out most of the time. That reflected alot in my old facebook posts. I do not want to be reminded of that time again. I was friends with people i didn't feel was right for me. Don't get me wrong they were great friends but I didn't feel like I fitted in with them. Looking back on those old posts and pictures it reminded me of how I felt back then. I'm so glad that time is over now. I still to this day get events requests on facebook from people that I knew back then. I handled that to and simply blocked their requests & I feel so much better. All of the old pictures of me and statuses are gone & I feel such a relief for that.

I think it's important to stand your ground. If you don't want something then you're not forced to do it. Cleaning out my facebook is the smartest damn thing I have done in a while.

Harry potter, pretty little liars & school experiences

Hello there,

OH MY GOD J.K rowling is making a new movie. It's not about harry potter. I think it will be about other people who live in the same wizard world as harry & the rest. I'm a major die hard harry potter fan. Right now as I'm writing this I'm listening to a harry potter movie soundtrack. yeah that's how bad I love harry potter. 

Today we had to take photos in school with our class. I hate it, like really hate it. I always end up looking horrible. Thank god this is the last time I will ever have to go through that experience again. Since this is my last year in high school. Today I also did something I'd never thought I'd do. I finally finished my pretty little liars book. I like to read but I'm a lazy reader. Anyway the book was great. I like the show more though. 

The best & cheapest nailpolish in the world + other stuff

Hii there people of the internet 

Guess what? I just got sick… AGAIN. I have the worst immune system ever. It feels like I'm breathing fire & every time I try to talk my throat tickles so bad that i have to cough. One good thing is that i have no studying to do today, yaay meee!!.  

I did my nails today. I took one of my favourite colores that I own. This nailpolish was so cheap (1$ and in euros it was 1,2€) & it's the best nailpolish i have ever used. Like serioulsy it lasts for over a week without it peeling of your nails. The brand is called eveline cosmetics. I bought it abroad this summer & sadly i can't find them in my country. 

Stupid problems & things I look forward to...

Oh Hai!

I just hate some of my teachers. I mean when we decide a time and a place for me to do a test then my teacher forgets to leave the test paper for me. It's just frustrating. If I could only fast forward the time to next week because next week I will be chilling. 

I honestly can't wait for fall to kick in. I miss the colourfull leafs & the colder weather. And mostly I can't wait for my birthday in november. Then I will be 18. 18!???, I feel so old. Even though I am turning 18 i still feel and act like a 12 year old girl. At least when I turn 18 I will be alloud to shop on the internet. I have made a whole list on ebay of stuff that I want to buy myself. the info on just how big that list is will stay with me hahah. Well I got to go... I need to study.... well I hope you have a great and joyfull day. Goodbye!.

I hate to study

Words can't even describe how much I hate to study. Tomorrow I have a test in physics & that's my worst subject in school. I just suck at it no matter how much i study for a physics test the reslut is always just a few points over that dreadful E grade. I think a lot of people can understand how frustrating this is.  

I did my nails today. Whenever i need to study i always end up doing my nails hahahah :). I should continue to "study" now well i hope you have an awsome splendid fantastic day. Byee :)!.

I guess that I should start with introducing myself. Well my name is medina & I am 17 years old. I have been wanting to start my very own blog for a long time now but I've never really had the time. Mayby i should write a bit about myself. As i wrote before I'm 17 years old (soon to be 18). I LOVE makeup. My absolute favorite movies are Harry Potter. I'm the kind of girl that would a 100% rather choose to eat a big mac instead of some yuky sallad. Yeah I love junk food. I live in the northen part of europe (Sweden) but my roots are from the south part of europe (Balkan). If you are out there & reding this then mayby you should tell me a bit about yourself, like what's you favorite tv show or food? :).
